How much are the BL boxes? Is a single conversion with uprated clutch cheaper?

similar costs although i done my manual conversion for about £1100. a built BL auto box with uprated TC will set you back in excess of £2.5k

I had a feeling that was the case. I'm pretty much stuck at the minute as manual seems the best for the money/sale aspect but auto for being the quickest

Quickest for what? Are you planning on making a name for yourself on the drag strip? I loved my auto but now ive actually swapped i would never go back. It feels so much faster too and there is the feeling of more driver involvement, rather than just putting your foot down and holding on:d

have any of you guys got a t71 single turbo on a stock auto box. if so what kind of power you got and whats the lag like. and also what is the limit of the stock auto box. andy

I have the T71 on the Stock Auto. I am running a J-spec ECU w/ 550 US Injectors - Greddy Emanage Blue and all supporting mods. I'm only running 10 psi and then with a push of a button taking it to 18 psi. It's strong, although a little laggy, I'm at full boost at 4700/4800 rpms. I have the NA Rear End 4:10's - cause my car was a NA->TT Conversion.

I'm guessing at 18 psi I'm at about 500 hp - but I still need to get it dyno'd. All is well so far. Later.
