Noticed I have water getting into the headlight does anyone know a method of cleaning this out or even better a supply of new headlights due MOT soon so a bit tight for time. Its a 94 J Spec TT

it might be the actual bulbs where they fit inside the holes in the light, take out each bulb and check that there is a rubber o ring on each one and that is in good condition, if they look ok then try a very thin smear of vasaline around the rubber o ring. make sure you dry them out first with a hair dryer as you might lock the moisture inside. after you have checked the o rings on both bulbs do the same for the fog lights (these have covers on and sit nearest the inner wing) and the sidelights (small bulbs that sit on storks) if you have the standard front bumper you should be able to reach through the hole under the indicator to reach them.

hope this helps :)

Thanks one and all, I can't figure out why I didn't think of the easy way out of this problem. Jon sent you an email ref new ones, I may now be able to dry them out but I can't get rid of the foggy appearance
