afennell
What do people consider to be the maximum safe boost to run through a standard j-spec 10+ year old intercooler on a T61. Thanks.
Wez
Would depend on the condition on the fins etc, i wouldnt push a stock plastic end tanked intercooler past 1.4bar maybe less on a bigger turbo.
afennell
Probably down to personal opinion and the condition of the intercooler. My garage suggested it was replaced before running more then 1.1 bar with my T61. Although they don't work with Supras day in day out. Kopite
I'd replace it mate. Not necessarily with a front mount but with something that's definately working properly. Don't want those intake temps to be too high!
