Hi guys,

I need to find someone that can do a decent install for my car. I need a custom box built and also need the front speaker holders made up.

Basically the system is going to replace my back seat, I have some ideas on what I want, etc. Just have no clue on how to actually make it.

What I still need:

Headunit
Front door speakers
Rear speakers

I have 2 amps, sub and most of the wiring needed.

I am looking for someone that is local, in the Surrey area.

If there is anyone that you can recommend, please let me know.

Regards,
Graham

Will do on that front, but need to get the install for the back sorted first, as measurements need to be taken, and the new fixed back bucket seats should be arriving this weekend.

Cheers,
G

Hey, what's up?

You're removing the rear seats for the install so does that mean you're using up the boot space too? Currently working on an install myself in fibreglass. Did you want fibreglass, or MDF box covered with vinyl or something? Fibreglass is very time consuming.

Are you looking for someone to build it for you? If you are and you want fibreglass you may have to leave it with them for a few days. I'm 20 mins SE of Guildford. Is that close to you? Don't mind having a look or even helping out with the install if i can.

Picture below is my install, looks a bit rough at the mo. In the middle of smoothing it ready for paint.

Hi mate,

Basic story is that the car is going to be on my driveway for the next month, as it has a cracked piston, but on 12th July, it is going to TurboFit to rectify that problem. The other thing is that the car currently has most of the interior removed, IE seats, paneling, door cards and parts of the dash.

Strangely, I want to keep my boot and spare wheel and all, but I have no issues with losing the back seat.

Material used, doesnt really make a difference to me, just dont want to end up sending a silly amount of money on it, although, I have yet to decide what I would classify as "silly".

I am ideally trying to find someone to do now, before engine build, as the interior will have been re-assembled.

Yours looks good...

Also looking for the bigger mounting brackets for the front doors.

Cheers,
Graham
