This WAS our old 275's on our Antera 309 rear . . 10" (x18")

That was the width they advised, but scraped the BU**ERY out of the

St/St edging ! ! !

SO, have now got 285's AND they have a bigger 'protector' too

(the 275's in pic were Toyo Proxes T1R's the new 285's are Dunlop SP's..

...trying to find pic of THEM will post if i find one)

? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I run 265/35 on my 9.5J rims.

They are very slightly stretched but not much at all. I can take a pic if it helps you at all?

Also, check different tyres makes out. There can be a big difference between lets say a Bridgestone 265 and a Dunlop 265. Know the V'Dub boys shop around for the narrowest for there Euro look for the Golf's etc.....

There used to be a website that had such info on it, I will see if I can find it for you. It is deffinatly true as I am an Ex V'Dubber and remember trying different brand new tyres until I got the look I wanted!!! Once I have eaten I will pop outside and take a pic of my Wheels for you. I have got Avon's on now on the rear (265/35) and Bridgestone on the front on 8.5J rims (235/40)

Cheers Matt, nice looking Supe, its just that i dont know if i should go for 255's rears on the 10" or 265's, i know that the 255's will give the stretched look, but im just wondering if to will the 265's in which case id go for the 265's.

Cheers mate! looks like ill be going for 255's;)

surely that's going to be stretched to the point of compromising safety though.

i would have thought 265 would be the narrowest you'd want to go. just my opinion though as i have a 255 on my 8.5j.
