View Full Version : Blitz gaskets?
Hello chaps,
I've just sent you an e-mail, but just in-case your checking the board rather than the e-mails or vice versa....
I'm having a bit of a problem getting the gaskets for the Blitz twin turbo kit that I bought as unfortunately it turns out that they are missing.
Is there any way I can purchase just the gaskets from yourselves/Blitz?
Failing that can you tell me what the gaskets are made out of, as it may be possible for me to make my own?
Any help you can give at all would be greatly appreciated!

They are bound to ask, so which ones specifically are you after :)

All of the ones that come with the kit. I haven't got any.
In fact all I've got is both turbo's, both manifolds, and both wastegates. That's all.

Hi Tony,
According to the Power Book and Blitz UK we can get them, they obviously don't have them in stock, but we can get them from Japan in a couple of weeks.
Prices I'll know tommorow, but for example the manifold gasket is going to be a minimum of £95, plus the wastegate and turbo flanges, your probably looking at upto £150.

Its the fast japanese post service... it takes 3-5 days, but obviously only if they have stock. Let you know tommorow :)

They should be able to EMS them out on Tuesday according to Blitz UK, but they are still checking stock. We can get them by the end of that week/early the following if so.

Any news on this price Gaz? These gaskets are the only thing holding me up now. Bloody Blitz of Japan, they're dangling carrots for me aren't they? Yes we've got them, but we're going to make getting them a long drawn out process.
Have they spoken to my girlfriend? Has she told them to drag their heals? She's part of the fun police as well when it comes to making my car go fast. I think I must have had too much in a previous life and now these people are punishing me I swear! :(

Basically I can definitely have them on the 2nd July, I am just trying to get them sooner than that :)

The 2nd? Do they deliver on Sundays?
If there's any way you can get them in before the 30th, then I can put it all together on the 1st/2nd and get it to turbofit for fabricating on the 3rd, otherwise I won't be able to put it all back together until the following weekend.
I know you're doing all you can Gaz, and I very much appreciate it.

Gaz, do you have a price on how much I'm looking at for these? I've got to work out the best way crack open the piggy bank in a way that I can glue it back together before the misses notices. :D

Yep, Blitz Japan are bringing them to the UK, they are having a meeting you see. They are sending direct so you should get em tommorow. I'll know more in a couple of hours.

Yep, they are here. They are going to try and make the post office by tonight, by special delivery. If not, you will deffo have them by Thursday.
