VELOCITY Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Sorry if this question is a bit stupid but on my car the OSR tyre is bald on the inner edge, all the other tyres are wearing evenly but I am a bit worried about just the one tyre especially the rear one wearin only on the edge. could this be a camber/caster problem if so is it adjustable?? Chris Wilson Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 If the car has been lowered, and the cambers NOT corrected you would expect inside wear on BOTH rear tyres, maybe on the front tyres inside edges, too. If it's only apparent on one rear I would suspect accident damage, so ask your mechanic to check for this. If the rear adjusters have to be set very differently, side to side, to bring the geo correct, then something is almost certainly bent and it should be found and replaced. HTH, was in a rush before.
