Hi,

I sprayed laquer on the CF that I stuck on my front lip. I went over the edges by about 5mm onto the original laquer of the sprayed parts of the lip(taped off). Whats the best grit paper to smoothen the edge line of the new laquer where it meets the old? What technique? Should I use any compound stuff?

Thanks :) ,
Ro

you will not be able to lose the line if you taped and then sprayed up to the tape.
best advice is get some 1200 to start and then some 1500 superfine, lots of soapy water and then g6 to polish it up..good luck as it sounds like you've fucked it up to me. got any pics

Lol, meant to do it like that and knew there would be a line which isn't to bad really! I didn't want to re-spray the whole lip.

Thanks for the advice, will give it a go.

Cheers,

i do lol, infact i own one haha

what absxxxx said is bang on,

the only thing you can do now is lightly flat the edge back, but dont cut through to colour ! then aply a small amount of laquer that has been slightly over thinned, then when you are fading it out at the edges use pure fade out thinners
