206 brakes???

girl at work has a 1.4lx t reg, just had rear shoes replaced

at first there was loads of responce, now there seems to be loads of progretion in the peddle is this normal????

no.. the self adjusters are fooked she'll need to do it manually. or drive it and stamp on the brakes ond yank the handbrake a few times, see if it wakes the adjusters up! or they have been fitted wrong and the spring that holds the adjuster in place is not doing its job.

It could be air in the system (but you shouldn't need to break into the system for a set of shoes) try rebleeding them.
