hi can anyone tell me how to access a real easy remote live for my amp, that cannot come from the head unit because the four screws holding it in have been rounded off, and will require drilling out which i cant do at the moment.
and i'm really gutted about taking of the dash trim to find that.
now bare in mind i recently had a pretty bad accident which has left me with a well dodgy leg and knee which wont bend and an elbow still in plaster.
so my movement is quite bad and as i'm off work for at least six more months i needed something to do.
thanks

Fuel pump ECU. Up under the Left boot panel, thats assuming it requires a 12v feed, some require 5v.

Have you got an aftermarket Head unit ? If so and you aerial comes up as soon as you turn the head unit on ..tap into the remote on line for that. Easy one right hand side of the boot.

Do the screws have a hex head? I had that trouble on mine and spent ages trying to get them out, then a friend came along and pointed out they were hex heads too! Just needed an 8mm spanner or socket.

my headunit is a sony wx-7700mdx double din with a sony 12 disc changer in the boot. (it was in the car when i bought it, just needed a band expander)

the ariel only goes up when the radio is switched on, not the cd.

the screws holding it in are a posi head half rounded, big ones too, no where for a socket or spanner.

thanks guys
