Guest mk47
are the toyota bilstein shocks standard on tts? if not, why not, and what makes them so special compared to regular ones? reason i ask i was getting my decat fitted today so while it was up on the ramp i had a good peep underneath and noticed it has bilsteins front and rear - i know theres something about them but just dont know what! Scoboblio
No they're not standard on TTs, they were an optional extra (maybe standard on facelifts but I don't know, it'll be in the FAQ section). I haven't got them so I can't really compare, but apparantly they're an excellent compromise between performance handling and comfort. Lean more towards performance than the standard shocks without sacrificing too much ride comfort.
