limiter

im sorry if this is a repost but i was wondering if my supe had a limiter? i thought i would test it out on the M48 to see what it could do. wen i got to about 130mph ( a guess because my clock only goes upto 110mph :( )thought that the accelerator pedal lifted my food off of it?? was this a limiter or was i jus gettin scared??lmao

That will be the ECU stepping in because it knows it's very dangerous to keep foodstuffs on the accelerator pedal, due to risk of grease transferance to the brake pedal, which is obviously a very bad thing.

Unless the car had a speed delimiter fitted it will be resticted to 180Km/H (112MPH) however the Supra speedos over-read a fair bit so it may appear to happen at 120-125mph.

When it hits the limiter it doesn't raise the accelerator pedal it just cuts the power for a sec.
