Installing Focal: 165CA1 speakers

Guys,
Need some advice, after hunting through the threads I cannot seem to find any advice on fitting my Focal 165CA1's in the rear speaker locations. Had a trial fit and they seem to foul on the plastic enclosure, seems the speaker is too deep. The threads I have seem to imply they should just drop in....

Hve you tried removing the plastic enclosure? My supra already had uprated rear speakers so when i fitted mine they weren't present. My speakers screw straight into the metal frame/shell.

I guess I was looking for the easy way out !
