Numpty question, but I can't find the engine oil drain plug. I've got a photo of the underneath of my car (it's an NA if that makes a difference).

Can anyone describe to me where it is? I've been assured that I don't need to take the engine undertray off, but I'm not sure.

Nowhere near there ;). Look from the drivers side and you'll see it on the side of the sump.

Thanks Simon! I'll try again, is this it? Photo is taken looking into the driver's side front wheel arch, just behind the wheel.
