If it is non-airbag wheel just pull the centre horn section of the wheel off, disconnect horn connection, undo central nut and wiggle the wheel back and forth whilst pulling to free it from the splines. If you have a problem pulling the wheel off, get someone to pull on it as you tap on the central threaded column (screw nut on top loosely and tap this so you don't damage threads) this should help free it from the column.
