Fitting UK turbos to a J-spec

Can somebody just confirm (without going into the pro and cons of the whole thing), that fitting UK turbos to a J-spec is just a matter of using the UK-spec manifold and downpipe?

The gentleman who bought my Uk turbos, manifold and downpipe has been told by his mechanic that there is no way they will fit, but I'm positive I've read on here that it's just a straight swap.

That's what i heard too, if you have the UK manifold it is a direct fit. I have been told that by more than one person.
