OK guys, what have you guys all got DVD wise?? Im after recommendations. I'd like a touch screen but i guess that's only because it's a gadget thing :D

I have sold quite a few of the Kenwood DDX8037 and DDX7037 double din DVD players. The 8037 includes 5.1ch DSP for that in car cinema experience :cool: They are both touch screen too, easy to use and picture quality is very high.

Yep I can vouch for that one James..I have the same unit, very good, v simple to use, covers all Europe and has Live Traffic reports (occasionally)touchscreen, great sound on my standard speaker system.

Its not quite as good as my previous Alpine (Navigation wise) or the Tom Tom European mapping...it sent me down a farm track in France once lol, but the the Alpine DVD nav did something similar...the other good thing is its DAB ready and you can even buy a in car freeview Tuner!

I bought mine for £850 inc VAT which i thought was deal of the century..and you cant beat Pioneer when it comes to 'sound'....£850 Bargain...shop around now though you may even find them cheaper..

Also bear in mind Pioneer should be launching a new model about now so may even get it cheaper...god knows how they can improve on it....

Check Nics Kenwoods out first though too coz Kenwood rocks...

Alpine V Expensive but the tops.

Kenwood....Dont know but everything they make is faultless in my experience.

Pioneer...Qaulity and top value!

Panasonic....... Dont bother...had one of their screens and everything that could go wrong did go wrong..and their Customer Service at their HQ in Berkshire sucked. It was sent back after 2 months of faults and i went and bought that Alpine system for about £2.8k (thats how much they all were then lol)

Hey James, I have this too and happy with it.
The Nav box has RCA AV inputs and dedicated camera input so you can have Rear view camera (:cool: ), Games console, Digital TV...........

It also displays car info such as Speedometer, Voltmeter, compass, accelerometer...... :)

Also Joe, does it swivel the screen so it's more central so as the passenger can see?? Not that i really care if they can or not, but just incase i want to include them you know :D

No swivel, you can adjust the angle though.

Kenwood KVT 627. Its not the most up to date kenwood model, but when this first came aout it was over 1K.
Touch screen, partly removable security plate, motorized. Mp3,wma, cd, dvd etc!
Its the one ive always had in mind!

I wouldnt do that....cause they come with the old 2005 map...wich is obselete...there isnt much difference in the price to the X1BT :) In norway the (old) X1R and the (New) X1BT have the same suggested retail price...

EDIT: But i do think he meant the DAB-unit...not the AVIC :)
