Posting Advice

Hi Chaps,

I've got a few large items that i need to post out. Cos of bank hols my local post office wont be open until Wednesay.

Anybody got any recommendations on what to do if i wanted to get something posted today / tommorrow? Never posted a large item out before, only letters which go in the box!

i know post office i use can take items up to 1.5 metres, not sure on weight limit, thats if you cant sort anything by then

Where do you get the boxes though? That's what always messes me up with the bigger items, ie sideskirts etc

Well there not that big! You can get boxes free my supermarkets though, im sure loads of shops / companys will be happy to off load boxes to people, thye only throw them away.

Yes, but finding a box for a rear bumper, or sideskirts is a pain, due to their funny shape. Not many boxes that size really (that I've seen recently!)

i tend to use parcelforce or the post office for smaller items ie upto 1.5m or upto 30kg and for any bodykit parts have used lynx
