Chaps - I sat in a gen 7 Celica GT in the showroom the other day (Don't worry - not going soft) but I did really like the seats - they are much more supportive and wrap-around than the Supra seats, and possibly cheaper than Sparco et al. OK, so all the adjustment is manual, but I can live with that.

Might those seats drop into the Supra as a direct fit I wonder?

Just because I wanted to use the new tags!

Wrong section I think! This is for cars for sale. But yes they "Might"

Which is the Gen 7 ? Not the current one is it, because they don't have a GT now do they?

It was the current one, and it had "GT" written on the seat backs.

fair enough. those current seats do look nice. Haven't sat in them but i wonder if they can be bought cheap enough?

This is also a popular mod for the Gen 6 celica and the Gen 7 celica seats are virtually a straight swap just need the runners :) would be nice if it was just as easy for the Supra.

Think getting the seats cheap might be harder though, as i said this is popular with Gen 6 owners.

IIRC it is possible, but the subframe needs customising with a cutter and welder...
