Yorkshire Jabber

In the user profile settings there's not an events notification thing for Yorkshire.

Also how about a Jabber option under Instant Messaging (google's gtalk uses that now as well I believe)?

OK, I've added Yorkshire to the events catchment area selection - although to be honest we haven't actually used the catchment area feature yet.

I've also stopped the list of sub-forums (local area forums) being displayed at the top of the national events forum, as it was forcing the national events off the page. In it's place I've added a Find your regional events forum (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/announcement.php?f=7&a=18) announcement to the events forum which will display a simple* map to help people find the correct forum for their area.

I can add a Jabber field easy enough, but I'll wait until after the forum upgrade as it may already be included in that. Fell free to bump this thread after the upgrade if it hasn't appeared.


* simple = basic, maybe not 100% correct or accurate, but it's all you're going to get so no complaints!
