LeeT
need a decent bodyshop around the basingstoke, newbury, reading area, any ideas? my insurance company will not pay the £140 recovery charge to get the car to GVN so ive got to find someone locallish who can work with fibreglass bodykits etc. How pathetic is that? Pig
Lee, call GVN, at our body shop we get the cars in and charge recovery on everycar! They just get it on the end bill! Im sure GVN will sort it. Edit: Failing that, i can talk to my bodyshop to see if we can get you in. We do a lot of tvr and lotus work!

We do a lot of tvr and lotus work! im hoping to talk to Gerald from GVN tomorrow to see if he can sort something. ive spoken to him loads over the last couple of days and really want the car to go there. I didnt know you worked at a bodyshop, that could be helpful if you can have a word. the £140 is what GVN will charge to get my car to them but my ins. company wont pay it as they can get free recovery locally
psymon
Can't GVN just disguise the recovery amongst paint and labour mate :d
Max Headroom
I will wait to be shot down in flames. Isnt it worth you spending £140 yourself to get the job done how you would like? That is if your insurance company is going to stump up the readies!!
Pig
No worries mate. Have a chat with GVN, i will have a check with my guys! IMHO i would go to GVN if that is an option though!

LeeT
Is he making any money?? i wasnt complaining. thats only replacing one rear quarter and repairing the other. after that, everything is pretty much bolt on new parts. new rear bumper, new bonnet, new front bumper, new front wing, fit new overfenders oh and straighten up the boot panel
lockys96
10k, say what
Pig
I was thinking it as along 2 (N) 1/4's rear panel (N) front panel work small ® the rest is obviously bolt on but its all a bit out e.g. bonnet to wing gap on O/S!
supRo
I don't think the AA do accident recovery, but if you are joined with one of the others - can you just say 'Oh I've just had an accident'...? Ro
