Mawby would it be possible to add a search function in private messages?

Any other useful hacks for pm's would also be gratefully received.

Another thought :idea: it would be really useful to be able to choose to view pm's in certain order, ie so you could choose to view them by user name.

It would also be useful to be able to flag a pm ie. you would have an extra option on the drop down options menu at the bottom to highlight a pm in a different colour or add some other type visual reference.

Yep especially for a trader like Nic with so many Pm's it must be terribly difficult trauling thru them all to find something!

Correct, pm's are a nightmare to deal with from my point of view (sure it is for the other traders also), but I know from a members point of view, they are usually the most convenient way to contact me.

Mawby's probably tired of me bugging him though by now :stickpoke :D

As a workaround you can export your PMs as an XML file, which you can open in IE or whatever and do searches.

I did look to see what PM plugins are available, and there aren't very many. Most of the are focused around making yours PMs not so private. There seems to be a lack of anything to make them more useful. :(

I've had another look for this and still can't find any useful PM enhancements out there.

If I get some free time I might try and write something myself, but don't count on that being any time soon.
