Also some C/F is faded and 'grey' - then it looks shit IMHO

I believe some cheaper c/f providers don't use good UV filtering material on the clear coat which causes this.

Bam bam has a black supra with c/f bonnet, I thought it looked mighty fine.

I think CF bonnets on dark cars look almost invisible unless up really close.

By invisible I meant that the CF effect is not noticable...not the bonnet is invisible and you can see the engine. Just thought I would clear that up. :D

Why? If you want it not to be noticed, whats the point of having it?

because its the same price as a bonnet from Toyota so i thought i'd get an aftermarket hood. i am not a great fan of c/f anyway, im just trying to get others opinions on what it may look like. If i cant make my mind up, i'll just get it sprayed anyway.

anyone able to photoshop a TRD style on there? ive got a full on front pic too if it helps

I will have a go for you if you post up or send me a full frontal shot :eyebrows: :D If you have a frontal shot of the bonnet as well that would make things easier.

Do CF bonnets flex more than or less than the OE bonnet? I wouldn't want any more flexing than stock really. I find it really off putting.

Cf is very brittle... Doubt they flex... I could be wrong.

good question, we both had thought our bonnets had popped open on the france trip due to the flexing of the stock bonnet. Jake actually had to pull over to double check.
