Just putting this into the Yorkshire folder as Wakey isn't in the Midlands!
Details, as ever, are in the calendar section. I'm getting there a bit earlier than 11 to gets me a bacon sarnie and cuppa.;)

me and James mark et al will be joining ya
Can't make it - I'll be at Elvington watching people practice for TOTB (CRD and ENVY are there I think?) while twenty million blue Subarus battle in the 'Scooby Shootout'
Hmm.... maybe we could come up to Elvington in convoy.
£12 entry
And they expect good honest yorkshire folk to attend?!?
:D
At least £5 of it will be paid by my other half. Or is it £10?
:rlol:
Martin [I] doubt I'll be able to make it [as it's the] G/F's Birthday meal [at] Sunday lunch - however [is] anything happening on Sunday night? I'm in Leeds [at] about 5:00 [and will be] heading back to Preston, but if anything [is] happening [I] could make a detour.
Mike
edit: my English is turning into abbreviation central, I really must keep my eye on that. How many words can I miss from a sentence?

it was a lot of fun, our half spirited drive on the way back was fantastico!
Spirited would be overtaking a lorry on a two lane road in the wet with big puddles all over.
Thank the lard for RLTC

i must admit as rob said when you done it, and after all the tosser, wanker comments :p nah seriously rob and i agreed that it was a nice overtake and the soops curves makes it look effortless
Rob,
You need to get RLTC or start using that second tubbie. You were ruining my cornering fun!

haha...you sure you want it? half the guys on the forum think its second turbo dont work :(
it actually bugs me some times that i do not have a manual, as i drove my mates audi and have not driven a manual for appx 1 year and my god my gear change was all over the place
i love a manual box
There's nowt wrong with the auto.

totally agree as would never ever have dreamed even owning an auto beofre the soop, i just miss the involvement thats all
I imagine that having to take one hand off the wheel at speed is very involving.

i mean gear change mate, with the auto you just point and drive and tease the acc(in your case just point and drive with RLTC) but with manual you have to guess the revs and make sure the correct gear will give you correct pull etc
i must admit that i drive with one hand all the time no matter how fast i go as always have my hand on the auto knob as it feels more comfortable for me

Im the same, usually one hand on the gear lever as its more comfy. I know the auto is extremely capable, but i wanted a manual
Besides, you cant say anything Martin, you wanted to do a Manual swap not so long ago :D
It's that time of the month again. Yes, the Wakefield mini-meet. Home of undercooked bacon, nuclear coffee and more cars that aren't Supras than you can shake a stick at.
Venue, as always, is the Redback Cafe at 11am. I know there are loads of you out their just itching to get to this meet so we've waved the waiting list and are inviting everyone down all at once. Entrance fee is an always to be repeated £0.00 with promises of no attendance from any car mags, whatsoever.
So, be there because if you ain't, you know we'll be laughing and talking sh*t about you.;)
Potentially, we could have:
RedM, Karl, Jamesmark, Dave222, Michael, Thorin, Knight, Andyhanna, Mattk, Robsheffield, Prof. Monkey, Flukey-lukey and probably a few more I've forgotten.
How many will we actually get?
I won't. I'll come along to one one day though.
I was there. Karl was there.
That's it! Disappointing turn-out to say the least.

do you want me to round up a few owners for the next one martin. The last event I organised there was over 20 supras. The best way to do it is to find all the yorkshire members and PM them to let them know as it is easily missed in the events section.People forget as well, next time we can get a big turnout I think.
It would be nice to get a load to turn up.
It's the combination of 'morning' and 'Sunday' that spoils it for me.
