Help my ariel has stopped going up and down, but still makes a whiry whiry noise, do i just need a new mast or a whole new unit ?

just a new mast mate, it'll be the plastic teeth have been stripped off it.

i got the reciept somewhere but im sure it was about £31 near as damn it with vat, steve got it and sent it straight on 2 me,ordered monday i got it thursday mr t by me said it could be 2 weeks if they could find 1 (monkeys)

my aerial doesnt work at all,no noise from the motor or anything, i only picked it up on fri nite so havent really had time 2 look in to it. Any ideas? any common faults?????
