oil and front head light

hi ive been ill for a few days ,so i asked my friend to get me some oil and a light

she has come back with semi synthetic 10w -40{is that right}

and the light is wrong its a h4 12v{but its fat}

are import lights different to uk spek

Which bulb are you trying to replace and which headlights do you have? If you have J-spec headlights you can't get the correct spec bulbs in the UK, but can adapt the 9005 bulb to fit.

 

J-spec Headlights (early and facelift)

High Beam = 9005J (use 9005/HB3)

Dip Beam = 9006J (use 9005/HB3, you will need to trim the rib on the wring loom plug to get them to fit.

Fog Light = H3

you fool :D

 

that oil will be fine mate as that's what Toyota actually tell you to put in the damn thing anyway. if you check around it is recommended that you use a fully synthetic but the one she got you won't do it any harm.
