Same as he said. I recently moved the filter into the bumper on my N/A. Seems to be good so long as you sheild it from rain and water especially if the filter is sponge material

hey there how have you piped up your filter, got any pics

cheers laz

there's no NEED to use an induction kit and relocate etc etc unless you have a big single turbo........the stock airbox is fine as is the stock filter.

don't trust me though, wait till i'm backed up as i could be wrong lol

No, you are right, the stock airbox is the best option for you, its good up to 500bhp AFAIK, a lot of people on the forum myself included have been ditching the HKS "mushroom" and going back to stock. If you must have an induction kit the best of the bunch is Apexi.

i have tryed both standard and cone ....the standard intake has cannisters on it to warm the air up!!! can`t see how this gives more power! cold air is more dence ,colder air more power! thats what i was told....and if its being fed direct less restriction....

no mate,

I remember reading a thread here with a link to some independent research that found the Apexi PANEL had the best filtration.

I bought mine basded on those results.

I'll see if I can find the link.

I didn't realise Apexi made a panel filter :conf:
