Clearance?

Im planning to get some component speakers down the track.

I made some MDF brackets with the template off this site, and was wondering what would be the clearance in millimitres between the bracket and window panel? Has anyone measured this?


Some of the component speakers seem to have some huge magnets or so.

I might get some Focal ones since you guys been recommending it, but all depends on my budget.

The Infinity Reference 6510cs 6.5" 2 way component system fit witout issues.
Alot of members have these, i've thrown away my instruction booklet/box which has the depth measurement. Maybe another member can post the depth for your guidance?

I had Focal Polyglass 165 V2's and they also fitted fine without any probs, have now dumped them in favour of an Audiobahn 3 way comp set.

Did u need to make the template off this website to fit them OR did u just screw them in straight ?
