friday the 9th i'm booked into turbofit, i cant wait :)

getting service/cambelt done too

im racing around trying to get the other bits finnished, still waiting for a set of hoses, if they dont come im screwed :( its been a month now

Just drag this thread back up for one quick question, the bonnet is rising on the sides a bit youll see it in the last pic, was wondering on putting another set of bonnet pins there to to hold it down. Think it would look OTT then ?? Opinions ??

 

Position the news ones midway up the bonnet each side.

Do you mean when driving or when sitting? My brothers stout bonnet on his RX7 flexed a lot when driving at high speed and he had 2 pins at the front. I think 4 pins would look dumb.

 

Maybe try reinforcing it somehow?

Ye I agree 2 pins is enough but isnt it better than a 2" gap ?

 

Reinforce it any ideas ?
