I had my months notice of renewing my insurance with elephant today and was immediately freaked out when I saw the engine size as 2954cc(the mk3) I thought shit I must have been a year on the wrong supra, but no I looked at my docs from insuring last year and it was on the 2997cc! phew!

I'm not really sure how they managed to do that! but just double check when they start coming through peeps!

This is precisely why I changed from Elephant to Lancaster - because they have no idea what they're doing when it comes to Supras. When I first got mine, they tried to tell me it was an F.I. which I'm 99% is a mk3, and I told them no, it's an SZ. They attempted to tell me they could not insure it but after speaking to several people they admitted they could cover it and would add the SZ to their list. Although the documents still said 2954cc when they came through! Bloody useless!

I'll be changing to admiral, I switch between admiral and elephant each year as the quotes are cheaper when switching rather than renewing with the current insurer.

So true isn't it. Should be rewarded for loyalty but instead they try to charge you more! I'm happy with mine now anyho :)
