Guest blueangel
Just a quick question to see what the general view on this subject is. Thinking about having some subtle airbrushing done on the rear quarters of the supe when it finally has some paint laid on her. More of what would be classed as ghosting than full on artwork. Not like you see in the pic below.
Ewen
Its your car, do what you want. Is it for show use ? If not, budget for the price of the paint, the artwork itself, and a similar amount for loss of value.
Guest blueangel
Just for show use and to set the car apart from the crowd, i dont ever intend on selling the car so the loss of value is neither here or there and the artwork will be of the highest standard and kept classy with the status of the car. Ewen
You asked my opinion, I gave it based on my love of the car. Ive seen some absolutely beautiful artwork (old school airbrush as opposed to computer generated stick-ons) in my time....the themed stuff (continuity of style and subject throughout) is sometimes awesome. Personally I prefer to see it on bikes and trikes, not on Supras. :)
jamesmark
Just for show use and to set the car apart from the crowd, . there are other ways of standing out! on here it seems to be power and making that work, like the car above and if you decide to go that far with it if i saw that i would honestly think you were a driving advert, ie those companies that pay you to advertise on your car, there will be a point when you have to part company with the car and to have such a custom paint job the engine and interior would need to be something special
michael
If done properly with taste it can look really good - the problem is that everyone has different levels of taste

colsoop
I think airbrushing can look amazing when done right. old school flames or stripes would look nice ghosted.
