Good day all,

Would just like to know what an active spoiler is, and what it does?

If the front bumper removed or a FMIC added, does it get removed?

Thanks,
Graham

The active spoiler is a small lip that sits behind the front bumper. Over 60mph and the lip lowers to improve downforce.

If you're fitting an aftermarket bumper it will need to be removed, if just fitting an FMIC you'll have to remove the active spoiler motor, but a lot of people leave the actual lip fixed in the down position.

It sheer assembly weight generates a bit of downforce at lower speeds as well
