Hi guys - I' m the new face
A piece or two of advice sought from you geniuses
I have a pioneer unit in my dash(in when I bought the car)
it works but we won't go any further there!
Anyway, The space below the unit is 40mm by 7" (sorry to mix metric & imperial). What can be fitted in there to improve looks and hide wiring. I took my life in my hands and crawled about a scrappies at the w/end and after much much muck and cuts found nothing! Is there a coin box or something that would fit?
Some power seller on ebay was selling a unit claiming this was what was req'd but when I asked he said 60mm clearence was needed and I have 40MM
So info from somebody would be great.
Also, who sells an ariel mast? - motor works fine but mast was bent and eventually fell out. Or do you have to replace complete unit?
Vic

regarding the mask you can buy that from toyota for £30. (thats just the mask not the whole unit)

people do have a plastic box that fits in spare radio slot, think from halfords.

Also welcome :D

Go single din..!! fill one of the din spaces up, then you can mount things like boost controllers, turbo timers, switches etc etc.. You do you have a painted dash for this though..! ;)

If the stereo you have is a single DIN size then the "universal DIN sized pocket" that Halfords sell will fit :) Got a small storage space in it for CDs (not that I'd leave any on display).
