Top boot spoiler rubbing

Lots posted on this before....the sticky-pad stickiness becomes stickyless over time, the leading edge lifts and you get this catching / rubbing on the rear hatch surround. I had to take mine off (my first MkIV) to fix it (if its the pads you cant fix it without taking the thing off) and then decided she was far sweeter without it IMO.

As has been said before, watch out for the side brackets...they are metal clamps and often damage the paint when put on / removed
