Justin
The engine from this piece of lardy cr*p is what is inside the only 2 Supras left running in the Japanese Super GT championship these days. http://www.engine-power.com/img/specs/2006_lexus_gs_430_04.jpg Sad but true. It's the 3UZ FE V8 see below. http://www.supergt.net/supergt/2006/06team/06teams_e/06t025.shtm?dt Maybe THOR Racing's V8 Supra motor could enter? Gazboy
It's must have about as much to do with a road going Supra as a yoghurt pot really.
Suprash
So what is that makes a Supra, the body design or the engine. I mean is not technically a Supra if it doesnt have the inline 6 engine in it......
charlton
How great would it be to have a V8 under the bonnet tho!! How "easy" is this conversion?
Jspec Germany
gay. I like the six. Imagine how heavy the 8 would be.
Gazboy
gay. I like the six. Imagine how heavy the 8 would be. Apparently it's lighter than the 6. I can't find the numbers at the mo but some Toyota freak on PH reckons the V8 is a similar weight to a 3SGTE engine from the MR2, which I assume is a hell of a lot lighter than the 2JZ engine. I would like to see fully dressed weights for all three though....

stt
If im not wrong then the V8 is an all alloy block and is lighter than the 2JZ lump which is a steel block
