Animal
Got a slightly used RS*R GT2 'zorst off Carl0s last week, but he was still waiting for a new set of baffles to arrive in the post. Needless to say, when I fitted to my fully decatted N/A it was WAY too loud - I had to drive home with the windows open otherwise it pressurised the cabin and made my ears pop. It gave me the most horrendous earache ever. I stuck my old 'zorst back on the day after. The baffle turned up on Tuesday, so I swapped 'zorsts again and after 5 minutes persuasion with a large mallett, got the baffle in and bolted down. The difference is amazing - not quite as burbly on tickover as I'd have liked, but sounds SO good on acceleration and is really quiet inside the car at motorway speeds. Thanks to Carl0s who was helpful (and slightly apologetic) throughout - top stuff. Full Revs Animal
Ian W
glad it only took a baffle to sort it mate, would have been a shame to get rid of it after sorting the deal out with Carlos for it etc.
Animal
Yeah, I couldn't beleive how much noise the baffle actually stopped. I was getting worried I'd have to sell it on again and find summat else.

Animal
No worries dude, I'd probably just have stuck it up for sale again anyway - it weren't your fault it was so loud. Supra-Man, I've been in Cockermouth for the last 3 years but moving back to Preston soon
Homer
The baffle in the RSR sure makes a huge difference! On a TT it'll bring the noise level right down, as you say, its not a 'burbly' type sound on tickover, but sounds very rorty while acelerating. Recently I've started putting the baffle in for weekday (commuting) as its so quiet... baffle out is ear bleeding weekend fun
