I bought a new aerial from Blueangel and received it a couple of days ago. i was hoping to fit it soon but it looks as if the one on my car is different and i'm wondering whether it will be a straight swap or not.

i've attached a picture of the replacement and a picture of the broken aerial on my car for comparison.

what do you guys think? is the aerial on my car a std toyota aerial?

Looks like a stock one, they are not difficult to swap over. Are you chnaging the whole unit or just the mast..?

which do you think would be easier?

i don't think there's power to the aerial from my head unit so need to sort that out anyway. as such i don't know if the motor in the unit that's in the car is okay or not so i was just going to swap the lot depending on how easy/difficult it is.

The stock Supra aerial is relatively short compared to most aftermarket ones, there's not a great deal of room in the wing.

Might be worth checking this out first.
