Defis in the dash

im going to fit a 4th Defi BF guage into my car (got 3 in a pillar pod) and want to put it in the dash above the ignition and next to the airvent (i dont want to lose the vent)

i was wondering if anyone else had tried this, and if so, if anyone had pictures.

if im not mistaken i think Terry S had something similar?

That's were i'm thinking of installing my digi RLTC controller. Can't see it being a problem.

Yeah tell me about it Spent a good hour or two once sat positioning the controller round the panels trying to decide on a convinent place. I'd put it in the glovebox but it looks so cool it'll be a shame

yeah, i might go for defi above ignition, and RLTC control under it...wont leave much dash space

have you considered a 52mm in the clock space?

Also RLTC - fit into the dash over on the door side - frees up the left? Or in the centre glovebox itself?

You can drill out the clock hole - but centre needs to be lower to miss all the fixings at the back

Rob, i was playing with my AEM gauge today and found it sits really nicely in a gauge holder sat blocking the drivers view of the stock tweeter. I took pictures but not sure where the camera is right now. Doesn't block the view of the road but is still in a good position to see out the corner of your eye.

Interested to see pics of that James. I fitted the AEM gauge in place of the clock but its awkward (maybe a little dangerous) glancing at it from that position when at WOT.

Yeah i was playing with where to go and it sort of fitted perfect. I'll fish it out and put it up tomorrow sometime.

As soon as someone said about firing a load of gauges randomly into your car I thought wheres that pic of that car with the stupid amount of gauges stuffed in it, and up it popped, thats excellent that one....

i also like Jakes efort....feckin hate them dumbass 4 foot diameter rev counters placed exactly 3 inches from the stock one...im going to d oa photoshop one day of 5 big rev counters around the edge of the dash
