theo sz 3.0 Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 i was changing the spark plugs on my soop.and i turned it on and it just cut out.then i noticed i forgot to put a ht lead in.i put it back in and my soop isnt starting up i have power but it wont start.have i dameged my engine. UltraFlynn Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 Not putting an HT lead on would effectively turn off a cylinder and make the car run very very lumpy. It certainly shouldn't cause the problem you are having. You might want to try disconnecting the battery for a while. That might help. theo sz 3.0 Posted April 30, 2006 Author Share Posted April 30, 2006 when i took out the spark plug that i didnt have the ht lead on it was wet on the top from petrol.if i stick a new spark plug in will it explode because of the bulid up of petrol.
