hello ppl...not had my tt supra for long and i wanna start doing the basic mods....it alrealy has a blitz nur exhaust on it and i now want to decat it...

I know that there are two cats on the car so i assume that you take both of them off.( i know it will prob effect passing the MOT...) who cares...

I know that blitz do a decat pipe as well but i dont know if the replacment is for both cats ???

So can anyone tell me where the best place to get the decat pipe from and how easy it is to fit.

Will i need anything thing else??? the only other mod it has is a apexi air filter...just worried if the fcd will start to kick in once it has been decatted..

thanks for your time...

P.S whats the next best mod to do??after decatt

mine took 5 mins to swap and get both cats off, took it to the local tyre and exhaust place for a tenner to do it i wasnt getting dirty, chris wilson sells cats (and dogs at the moment) try him, its real easy if can under the car properly but i imagine its a pain if its on the floor

its a import tt 96 mod and yes im in the uk...surrey

I woudl first check the condition of you intercooler, if it is the original, it may be in a poor condition and not up to coping with high boost levels.

Contact Chris Wilson (member and trader on here) he can supply decat pipes (one to replace each cat), by fitting 2 seperate cat pipes, it makes it a lot easier come MOT time to refit the second cat. Without cats the J-spec Supra will boost dangerorusly high, so you will also need a restrictor ring to limit boost to a safe level (recommend 1.1bar), Chris can also supply these.

See Chris's contact details HERE

You will need a fuel cut defender if you are making more than 1bar boost, you'll probably need cooler grade plugs. I would also advise fitting a new fuel pump and fuel filter to ensure adequate fueling. A new O2 sensor would also be worth fitting if it hasn't been replaced for a while. I can supply all of these if needed.

Oh and bin the Apexi induction kit and fit the stock airbox back on, this will give you better filtration and more power.
