i posted a little while ago about my not having any power low in the revs. thining it was an ait leak i took off most of the pipes and checked everything out.... apart frem the clip engine side of the maf being a bit loose, allseems fine.

so, could it actually be me clutch sliping? i've not encountered this on another car before so wouldnt really know.

whats happening is when i accelerate/pull away the supra doesnt want to go anywhere untill the second turbo kicks in. its revving very quickly up to that but just not moving much.

ideas? and could the clutch just need adjusting? rather than replacing??

cheers,
Matt.

sounds like the clutch had the same on mine if you stamp your foot down does it just rev then bite?

There is a real good USA company on ebay that does OEM and up rated ones for cheap

yeah stamp foot down, revs to about 5k, then bites and drops down to about 4k.

is replacing it a tough job on a supe?
