Daston
Really the only thing you can do to the N/A is new exhaust, downpipe and manifold unless you want to spend a shed load of money on internals
Guest mk47
im gettin a s/s exhaust off another member in a week or so. any idea of what sort of manifold/downpipe to increase performance? what kind of power increase will it gain?
Daston
Not sure what ones are best I am sure someone will be along who knows, as for power gains I would say 10-15bhp unfortunatly it is very expensive to get any real power out of the engine without a turbo
Chris Wilson
I do a pair of stainless steel N/A de cat pipes, the front one having the correct stainless flexi section in to stop cracking. With a decent cat back exhaust, which i can also supply and fit, if required, you can get up to 15 BHP more. If you have a big budget you get a tubular exhaust manifold too, which will gain a bit more still. After that it's BIG money. IMO NOS needs a mappable ecu and a lot of luck if you don't want a blown engine.

Prof. Monkey
I have an XERD header, seems to improve the flow. I will be getting rid of mine eventually when I can afford NA-T When I am better, I am going to have mine RR'd to see what it is producing. SuperSupra
Definitely recommend the CW de-cat, I got both mine taken out, and the performance gains were significant, not to mention the extra grunt - sounds awesome! I'm happy enough with the speed of mine, for now......
