View Full Version : front spoiler
What do you have to do to get the thing to come down automatically. Mine will work when the engine is not turned on but as soon as the engine is started nothing happens. I assume it is to do with the miles/kph conversion but what?
Any help would be appreciated
Make sure the Auto Off switch is not depressed.
Have a look at www.mkiv.com. Under tech articles and parts photos you will find the info you need.

Have you got any warning lights on, on your dash when at speed.... if so you've got the same problem as me a dodgy signal from the speed controller to the ECU. It can stop things working like the front spoiler and the Traction Control - I've got to get a new odometer as when my speed de-limiter was fitted to it they broke the connection irrevesibly. The guys at TDi should be able to diagnose this better than I can.
Otherwise as flavio says make sure the Auto off button isn't depressed!
