Which cleaning products ??

What products do people use for cleaning dead flies from their paintwork. Removing the carcasses is easy enough, its the clear stain they leave behind which seems impossible to remove.

And what about Leather - cream leather looks good but gets grimey - whats the solution ??

I think i use the entire Autoglym range, and none of these either remove flies or particularly clean up the leather.

Give me some names, and i give them ago.

Has anyone tried the Scandinavian leather restorer stuff ??, i believe it has leather filler and all sorts for an as new look...

Hi Dean

I use Autoglym Leather Care Cream (for the seats, not the flies...) and it seems to work well.   cleans off dirt and softens the leather too.    If the leather is very dirty then you have to persist a bit with it, and do a small area at a time, but it does work.

cheers

I use a leather furniture shampoo diluted in warm water.

Just rub it in to make a slight foam and the dirt comes off with the foam.

When I got the car the leather need four shampoos before the foam came off clean.

Wipe it down with clean warm water and let it dry.

I then finish with Autoglym Leather Care cream to feed and soften the leather.

Then buff with a clean duster.

I treat my leather every couple of months, slightly more frequently if I am running air con all the time.

Where did you get your furniture leather cleaner - i sent the wife on her weekly errand to Tescos, added it to the list, but couldn't find any. Of course i immediately sent her back out to find some, but to no avail...

I got the leather cleaner form a specialist leather shop.

It is not the same stuff as James mentioned.

We have just run out.  The cleaner use the last lot on the furniture this week.

You won't find it in Tesco's.

When I get some more, I will post details.

You can buy leather care sets from DFS the furniture shop.

They give them away if you buy a leather sofa but I think they are about £25 other than that.

Seems to work OK on my light leather sofa, I'll give it a go on the Supra.
