Just like to say a big up to Nic  for supplying me with a set of Tein SuperStreets with the top mounts. A bargin.

These are the tat that came off, EL Sport. Not bad but basically too hard for the road and way to soft for track use and not adjustable.

and after a little playing around to get them on, easier than i thought in the end, on went the new Teins.

Still need to get the alignment done but once that is out of the way I can have a proper play with them :)

What discs are they?

Good job, are those Teins the height adjustable only or the full shebang?

full shebang i think Daz

are the topmounts really necessary or will the old ones work fine?

they are 3G discs using a brembo casts front and rear, they are dimpled and grooved. and to be honest very good at stopping the car (even though they are j-spec calipers) and they have done a couple of track days and not cracked or warped. well worth it. they also have that gold coating to stop surface rusting which works really well.

full shebang adjustable damping via the twisty bit at the topmount and height adjustable, so far well worth it.

you can get just the dampers without the topmounts and the instructions that come with it tell you how to dismantle it (although they are in japanese but the picture giver you a good idea) so you can swap them but to be honest i would get them as its not much more and saves worrying if there is anything wrong with your existing one
