View Full Version : Carbing Aluminium Front Strut Brace
I have one Carbing Aluminium Front Strut Brace in stock, looking for a good home. This is to fit a Turbo Supra (NA ones are also available if required) and includes a built in brace to prevent the brake master cylinder from flexing under braking, which noticably increases braking power and improves pedal feel.
The Carbing strut braces are some of THE best quality ones available for the Supra, as they are welded, rather than bolted together. They are available in either powder coated (white) steel or as pictured brushed aluminium.
Carbing also make rear strut braces and central floor strut braces for the Supra, which are ideal for adding stiffness to Aerotops.
Price for the front strut brace is £169 including airmail to your door.

That's what the GF tell me too :nana: :D
Would be good if you could post some pics here once fitted, if possible :Pics:
lol ok sure will do :) I think it's going to look very nice!
Ok, fitted it :)
think it's really nice, shame that the rest of my engine bay needs some bling and a big single lol, all in good time as they say, you have to start somewhere.
I'd say the thing is very well made. The metal is very substantially thick in gauge and the whole thing is very rigid and yet extremely lightweight. The brake master cylinder brace is a nice bonus too.
Not had a chance to put it through it's paces yet, will do soon down some twisty lanes and I'll let you know what I find. Anyway here are the pics (and again appologies for the otherwise stock engine bay).
looks  fitting ok ?
fitting = easy, took me longer than it should have as some passer by wanted to stop for a chat and tell me how much he loved the car and ask a million and 1 questions about it lol
but fitting couldn't be easier, 6 nuts to undo and refit, easy 10 mins max with stop for coffee... :)

thats the best looking strut brace i've seen. Nice :)
Shame I have a TSII hood as Id love one myself.
Just like to say its a great bit of kit. Used it on track for the first time Sunday and was very pleased with it, the master cylinder brace seems to work well too. Many thanks Nic.

Thanks Terry, good to hear positive feedback, the brace does seem well designed and made, also light in weight too.
I was suprised just how much a difference the brace for the master cylinder makes under medium to heavy braking (I have a cusco brace fitted), definitely a worth while upgrade to have.
cheers
