tracking gone

i got new tyres on my soop today and they told me my tracking is gone cos the tyres were only bald on one side.how do the fix it?has itgot something to do with my shocks?

nothing to do with shocks mate. you should find somewhere that will do a full laser alignment for you for all four wheels....do a search on here and you'll find some info.

some kwik fits claim to do it but how good a job they do anyone knows.....someone may be able to recommend somewhere for you.

Shame you are not in the south of england, a place called micheldever tyers near winchester do laser alignment properly and if you want they can do any suspension setup or subframe setup you want...and they know what they are doing.

im going to try kwik fit here they told me 60euros?is that ok

seems about right for kwik-fit........although tbh to do it properly usually costs over £100.

could give it a shot i suppose. they should give you a read out of the settings before and after as well.

Which side of the tyres was bald? It'll be the camber that you need adjusting, get full alignment and tracking done too, it will absolutely transform the handling of the car when set up correctly.

the back ones were bald all over and the two front ones are bald on the inner side of the tyre.
