not sure how the car will idle with the 550s fitted and no fuel controller. Im going with similar set up.

Hasn't somebody done this before and seen that the stock ECU will just about handle the bump up to 550's? You really need to get that WBO2 though, your flying blind without it.

No the stock ECU will not run 550's.

Knock about 20% off at idle and it should cope....The 550's are 20%(is my maths right?) bigger than 440's, but it's not that linear across the rev range. I expect you won't need to take anything out at WOT over 4000rpm. Because of the big turbo.

I personally wouldn't dream of doing anything like this without a WB02. Unless you want to blow her up.

I used a safc with 550s on T61, ROUGH settings were -15% at idle to -25% @ 3000 (1.0 bar) 0@4500. AFRs start to rise above 12.5 0ver 1.4 bar.
The ecu can run 550s without safc for low boost (but will be in the 10s!) In closed loop it will idle around the 13s.
This is with an FSE regulator (which is also going)

Do ya think im better off leaving the 440s in and just driving down thor off boost?

Yes...and then take it to a tuner to finish it off...you have flow tested and cleaned the injectors yes??

Tuner to finish what off?i was thinking of driving down fitting the injectors getting it set up then driving back.

Isn't that abit lean ? I thought 11.4 - 11.8 was a nice safe AFR.

Yes it is. Thats why I am moving to 650s as I want to boost to >1.4 bar without using mega fuel pressures.
