Retrimed auto lever.

Ok guys, calm down....handbrake is a doddle,I did that myself.I stripped the auto lever(the leather comes off in one piece)and took the old covering to a trimmers in Egham with my leather. He "made" a new cover for me and I then used evo-stik and stuck it on.(there is no need to stick the underside of either the handbrake or auto lever as a glued butt-joint is fine).I asked him about the steering wheel and he showed me some mota-lita wheels he had done.He is confident that he can do a good job.I had him make a custom hood for my TR 8 a few years ago and I was happy with his work.

Now I know there may be a demand for steering wheels to be retrimmed so If anyone has a spare 4-spoke standard wheel that they would/could donate/sell,I will get it trimmed and obviously pay the man.My original wheel would then be spare to get trimmed and the donater?would get that wheel and so on?Does this sound fair or am I talking bol*ocks?Naturally cost and final finish is important so would anyone be interested? If not I will buy anybodys spare wheel and get it trimmed, I am away for a few days,so bear with me.
