Trial Rear brackets

After the recent loss of "Burts" bumper, for all those that own a Trail rear these may be of use..... I redesigned my bracket and also had another made by my mate, for the exhaust tunnel, to hopefully prevent this event happening to me.... These go either side of the exhaust tunnel, giving support against wind pressure.

I will post up pic's of them installed on Thursday, as im off work.

Cheers

Simon

Had a look at mine today very closely and basically they have wind guards and pressure holes to stop this happening - mine is as solid as a rock and it isn't even fitted!

Si - If you can get me 5 sets that will be brilliant (let me know damage etc)

or chuck me the dimensions please mate and I will look to get some done - this is really excellent work!

Just had a catch up on Burts thread about his rear bumper. Wow, scary stuff.

Fitting a Trial rear today hopefully... may have to get some of these brackets made up.

Where did you get yours from? I got mine from knightracer from the new mould but I havent had a chance to test fit yet as the exhaust has to come off.

I brought mine off Knight racer this year and i was told its the new mould.

I can't be certain each replica will be good but i have to say mine needed very little work. I'm only after these brackets after reading a few horror storys about knight racer and the trials rear.

So far i have driven at high speeds and been on 70mph A roads and everything seems fine but better to safe than sorry.

My used Trial Rear arrived yesterday but won't be fitting it until my sideskirts and front lip also arrive and I get around to trial fitting it all before painting, but I definitely will be making some brackets to make sure it all stays in one piece.
